Manager – Corporate Communications
The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacancy of Manager - Corporate Communications. This position requires the successful candidates to assume responsibility for leading and directing the Corporate Communications team in the University’s Marketing Unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of Corporate Communications professionals.
- The development and implementation of approved strategies for internal and external communication using a range of media.
- The establishment of methodologies for the acquisition, preparation and publication of newsworthy material.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- First degree from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant discipline.
- Post-graduate qualifications in Corporate Communications.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 10 years post qualification experience in Corporate Communications.
- A track record of effectiveness in Corporate Communications.
- Experience in the leadership of a group of professionals.
- Understanding of the dynamics of the higher education sector would be an asset.
