The Government Information Services Limited (GISL) is inviting applications for appointment to the position of Human Resource Officer to provide support to the Human Resources Department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognized degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Five to seven (5-7) years experience in a Human Resource or Organization Development environment
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, experience or skills
Key Functions:
Ability to:
- Coordinate recruitment, selection and separation activities.
- Assist in managing performance management system.
- Coordinate Group Health & Life Insurance Plan for employees.
- Maintain and supervise the activities of the HRIS software.
- Prepare relevant strategic management monthly and annual HR reports.
- Conduct job analyses, performance analyses, & prepare job descriptions.
- Assist in the development and coordination of training plan.
- Supervise and assess performance of junior staff.
- Assist with the administration of human resource budget.

- Effective communication/business writing skills
- Excellent Interpersonal and time management skills
- Confidential and results oriented
- Proficient in MS Office Suite/Human Resource applications
