Richard Gomes

I received both my BA Honours (2004) and his Post Graduate Diploma (2006) in Marketing from the world famous and renowned Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).

In 2005 I accepted a teaching position as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Professional Institute of Marketing in the field of Marketing at both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) programme as well as a dissertation marker on behalf of the Commonwealth Open University.

In the same year I achieved my Post Graduate Diploma, I was elected as an Associate of Chartered Institute of Marketing by the International Board of Trustees of CIM (2006) and was granted a one (1) year exemption from the Masters of Marketing Programme at the University of Glamorgan in Wales, which he completed in 2008.

I have continued to be current with the most recent thinking in areas such as Strategic Marketing Planning and Business Communications by engaging in various courses from premier education providers such as Author Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

I have also worked in several industries in Trinidad in various positions where he proved his worth by applying his extensive academic training to the benefit of the organization. Included in these are Education as a Marketing Manager, Administrator and Lecturer at the Premier Tertiary Institute for Marketing in Trinidad; the Media as the Direct Sales Manager of the leading television station in the country; the Pharmaceutical Industry as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of a major supplier of retail pharmaceutical goods; Operations Manager for a major Bedding & Fully Upholstered Soft Furnishing Retail Chain as well as a Corporate Interiors firm that specializes in interior building finishing works such as floor and wall finishes, ceiling and gypsum works as Sales Manager.

This exposure to several industries has served him well in his development as a truly genuine and bona fide marketer as it underpins his ability to manipulate marketing strategies and tactics as is necessary for the success of any business venture.
