I am interested in working for a large company or consultancy, specifically in the pension plan administration, compliance or management functions.
You will see from my resume that I have extensive experience in the pension industry in both Canada and Bermuda, with experience in the management of defined contribution pension plans and Deferred Profit Sharing Plans, consulting on plan design, administration, communication with members and sponsors, and, ultimately, wind up of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes of insolvent plan sponsors.
I am a focused, well-organized project-type manager; comfortable handling related or unrelated research and problem solving; report and letter writing; office and plan administration. I have worked closely with regulators in all Canadian jurisdictions, including the Canada Revenue Agency’s Registered Plans Directorate, as well as the Bermudian authority responsible for pensions.
I have an intermediate level competency in most of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with emphasis on Excel, Word and Project. I have supplemented my professional benefits designation with numerous computer hardware, software and management courses over the years.
My salary expectations are reasonable and negotiable to be in line with local markets. Relocation is not an expense I would expect a prospective employer to bear as it is covered by my former employer as part of my original contract.
I look forward to exploring this or any other suitable opportunities with you and am available to discuss employment opportunities by whatever means (telephone, internet, in person) is most expedient and convenient.
