I am a Jamiacan, presently living and working in Dallas Texas as a senior Safety Specialist with JE Dunn South Central.
I taught Construction Technology and Drafting in Jamaica before I migrated to the United States. I have worked in the Construction Industry for the last twenty five years.
My spouse, soon to be my wife, lives in Trinidad so in order to be closer to her I would like to find a job there.

I have more than twenty years experience in the construction industry; the last eighteen years were spent specializing in construction safety and health. I have been successful in designing and implementing cost effective safety programs for large construction firms on major construction projects. During this time I gained extensive experience managing OCIP programs and recently managed the OCIP and OSHA Partnership on a 1 million sq ft. building for the US Postal Service.
My extensive knowledge of the OSHA regulations, pre-planning expertise and hazard evaluation of job sites has contributed to the profitable completion of many projects, which experienced minimal losses from illness and injuries.
I constantly draw upon my experience as a teacher to train and coach employees to affect positive behavior modifications. I do create my own Power Point presentations for most of my safety presentations.
My accident investigation experience is consistently used to identify root causes and develop procedures, means and methods aimed at controlling such hazards in the future.
Workers Compensation Management and Recordkeeping has been a part of my responsibility on all large projects.
I look forward to working with an Organization such as yours, which evidently has safety as an integral part of its work culture. Relocating to achieve this goal is not a problem.
