Process Plant Operator Trainees
Yara Trinidad Ltd. is seeking to recruit Process Plant Operator Trainees for a one (1) year period. The program is designed to develop, through systematic On-the-Job Training, the knowledge and skills of individuals interested in the field of process plant operations. The program will give a broad knowledge of the process plant environment, with both theoretical and practical training opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five O’ Level passes including Mathematics, English and Chemistry
- A Process Plant Operator Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Training institution
- Ability to work shift
- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft software e.g. Excel and Word
- O’ Level (CXC) Physics, A’ Levels (GCE or CAPE), an Electrical Engineering Technician Diploma or a Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma would be assets
Desired Profile:
- Safety conscious
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-starter who is results-oriented
- The candidate must be an honest, reliable and responsible person with the ability to be a good team player
- Willingness to develop in related fields
