The Production Operations Department within the Exploration and Production Division is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the Permanent position of:
PROCESS ENGINEER
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide process-engineering support (monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing) to offshore production facilities and tank farm process units, working closely with key stakeholders to meet production targets in a safe, profitable and timely manner. To develop feasibility studies and basic engineering designs for offshore production facilities and tank farm improvement projects in accordance with safety standards, engineering codes and practices and economic guidelines, in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS - (PROCESS ENGINEER):
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution as a minimum requirement.
COMPETENCIES
Technical
The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in Process Unit Support and Process
Safeguarding. The preferred candidate must also be well-informed with the Process
Technologies and possess a keen awareness for Process Design and Concept Development and advanced Process control Scheme.
Business and HSE
We are in search of individuals who can manage for results and are results-oriented, meticulous and analytical, possess problem-solving/troubleshooting skills and can work well with multi-disciplinary teams. Individuals should also possess sufficient knowledge of Technical HSE Engineering, Systems of Work, Management Systems Application and Emergency response. The preferred candidate must be able to lead change and innovation and possess strong communication skills and must be adept in Incident Reporting and Investigation. He/she should also be able to multitask and manage time effectively.
