JOB TITLE: Services Manager
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The management and oversight of Information Technology (IT) and Consulting Services engagements with IBM clients to attain profitability and client satisfaction objectives.
Proposals and Sales
- Develop strategies and approaches for IT and Consulting Services proposals and contracts to meet revenue, profit and client satisfaction targets.
- Quality Assure the pricing of Services proposals.
- Negotiate subcontractor contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.
Project Implementation and Technical Support
- Manage the Services team during project implementation to ensure that engagements meet the revenue, project, client satisfaction and utilization targets.
- Manage client Service Level Agreements.
- Staff and manage resources for Services engagements.
- Function as an escalation point for all Services engagements.
- Seek opportunities for improving and innovating Service delivery.
- Manage Services processes, business controls and other business measurements.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internal IT Management and Support
- Lead internal IT resources to ensure compliance with internal and external controls for quality, processes and security.
- Manage the deployment and support of the Company’s in-house IT assets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience and certification in the field of IT. Successful track record in delivering consulting services and managing a Services unit.
