The South-West Regional Health Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following positions:
TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR
(BUILDINGS & GROUND MAINTENANCE)
The Technical Supervisor (Buildings & Ground Maintenance) will be responsible for providing technical support for the delivery of maintenance and contracted services within the Property Services Department. The incumbent will assist the Senior Technician in implementing all maintenance activities and in the preparation of work orders and bids.
The incumbent will also assist in the monitoring of contractors and manage various databases. In addition, he/she will assist in the preparation of specifications and liaise closely with Health Facilities to identify maintenance needs.
REQUIREMENTS AND TRAINING:
- A Civil Engineering Technician Certificate (Construction & Building Trades) and at least two (2) years' experience in building and construction or National Craftsman Certificate.
- Certificate in Building Trades with five (5) years' minimum experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design.
- General computer literacy.
