Invasive Species Coordinator

VACANT POSITION
CABI Caribbean and Latin America requires an experienced and versatile professional in Invasive Species Management to manage and implement a range of projects in the Caribbean and Latin America. The incumbent should have a broad background in ecology with solid knowledge of sanitary and phytosanitary measures.

Additionally, he/she should have in depth expertise in one or more of the following or related fields: biosafety, botany, entomology, freshwater and/or marine biology, plant pathology, or quarantine. He/she needs to possess excellent communication skills, trained in facilitation techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working knowledge of a second regional language, especially Spanish, would be an asset while a full driving license (manual transmission) is expected.

For the Coordinator role at the HSO grade, a Ph.D. as well as project management experience, including technical and financial reporting, would be expected.
