We are currently recruiting for the following position Senior Roads Superintendent:
SENIOR ROADS SUPERINTENDENT:
Salary $55,512 - $74,388 per annum
This post assists the Assistant Director – Engineering & Operations with they day to day works management functions of the organization. The Senior Superintendent is largely responsible for monitoring the quality control and cost effectiveness of engineering and operations. The Senior Superintendent supervises two superintendents (works managers) with over –reaching responsibility for approximately 100 field based employees.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
A bachelors Degree in civil engineering, construction management or business administration with a minimum of eight (8) years practical in project management, civil works supervision. Work experience in roads construction and proficiency in industry standard project management/scheduling software is considered a plus. Other general requirements include:
• Experience and knowledge in project estimating for building and civil works; budgetary control & cost reporting systems
• Fair knowledge of heavy construction equipments, their applications and limitations.
• Proficiency in computer applications particularly those relating to project management, scheduling, spreadsheets.
• Must be a proven leader with strong interpersonal and organizational skills and possess a positive and professional approach to problem solving
