Nevash Rambaran

I am a First year University of the West Indies student applying for any internship programs or vocational employment positions in your workplace during the months May-September 2008 which would provide me with an opportunity to gain further experience and valuable knowledge of the business world that would assist me as I pursue a degree in Management studies.

I am aware that hiring a young employee is risky due to the limited amount of experience they are exposed to but I assure you that I am extremely hardworking, a quick learner and willing to undertake any additional training or go to any extreme lengths required to perform to the best of my ability for your organization if given the opportunity.

I have good inter-personal, communication and analytical skills which will enable me to contribute effectively to achieving the goals of your company. Additionally, I posses developed leadership skills having gain experience as being the St. Georges College Deputy Head Prefect for the entire student body and St. Georges College house vice captain.

If given the opportunity to serve your esteemed organization, I assure you I will perform in a professional and efficient manner.

My areas of interest range from Sales and Marketing, Human Resources and Accounting. However, if no available positions are available in these areas, any available related fields would be greatly appreciated.

Please note, despite my young age I have encountered a variety of work experiences which has enhanced my dexterity.

I thank you for considering my application and I look forward to a favourable response.
