Damus Altair Strickland Turnaround Services Unlimited (DATSU) is a Joint Venture Company owned by Damus Limited of Trinidad & Tobago and Altair Strickland Inc. of Texas, USA. DATSU offers world class Plant Turnaround Services to the refining, petrochemical and LNG sectors in Trinidad and Tobago.
DATSU is seeking to fill the following position:
QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent reports to the QA/QC Coordinator and is responsible for monitoring the QA/QC work activities to ensure that these conform to Company and Technical/Engineering standards. Work involves the visual inspection of welding and other activities and preparation of reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanical Technician Diploma and three (3) years’ related experience.
Familiarity with the following codes will be an asset: ASME B31.3, AWS Dl.1, and API 650.
