Cara Hotels, an established Caribbean based hotel group operating in Trinidad & Guyana is seeking to recruit an experienced General Manager for our Trinidad property. The General Manager will be responsible for the efficient and profitable day to day operations of the hotel, with emphasis on Food & Beverage.

With the opening of an additional 50 bedrooms and construction of a new conference centre planned it is essential the General Manager has the ability to continue our plans to improve and upgrade the hotel and is able to understand and execute the owners vision for the hotel.

This position will suit a single individual who is looking to grow with a young and rapidly expanding regional hotel group in the Caribbean.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes.

• Minimum 3-5 years previous General Management Experience

• Caribbean experience essential
• Hands on and hard working approach
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Strong Food & Beverage background
• Motivational abilities to inspire & direct a growing team on a daily basis
• Computer skills
• Eye for detail
• Customer service focused
• Administration & Financial Skills
