Senior Information Communication Technology (ICT) Engineer

The Senior ICT Engineer provides a range of technical, administrative, supervisory, project management and mentoring services that ensure internal and external client needs are met and development projects are delivered within cost, quality and scheduled targets.

The incumbent will manage human, financial, information and material resources to meet department objectives. They will be expected to comply with company with company policies and procedures and relevant engineering, safety and environment standards in the conduct of their work. They must illustrate and exercise strong initiative, supervisory/management capabilities and good stakeholder relations.

Minimum Acceptable Academic/Technical/Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences or a related field
• post graduate qualification in Engineering or Computer Science

Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience

• Minimum Ten (10) years experience in the ICT Industry with hands an experience in one or more of the following areas: Broadband Network Architecture, IP Network Design and Implementation, Service Development, Network Operations and/or Customer Support

Person Specifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Project Management Certifications and skills will be an asset
• Training/Certification from major vendors such as Nortel, Cisco and Checkpoint will be an asset
• HSE Certification will be an asset
