APPLICATIONS ANALYST

Jub Summary:
This position ensures that all business applications are adequately maintained, supported and improved to continually meet the needs of the core business functions that these applications facilitate.

Main Responsibilities:

• Performs daily maintenance tasks and support for the primary application assigned.
• Configures the application as required to ensure proper functioning and maximum efficiency.
• Provides technical and functional support by addressing trouble tickets from the help desk as they arise and escalating to the vendor as needed.
• Designs, develops and implements Business Systems to support current business functions in accordance with standard business practices, specifically in the areas of Problem Definition; Systems Requirement Analysis; Programming and Testing.
• Defines and improves business processes according to functionality of applications.
• Determines the effects of changes in business process on existing applications.
• Provides solutions to support changes in business practices, policies or processes.

Possess a Degree and at least 1 year experience in Application Support.
