DIRECTOR, JOINT REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE (JRCC)
Two of CARICOM’s regional security centers established by the CARICOM Heads of Government is seeking suitably qualified CARICOM nationals to fill the following positions with assigned duty stations in Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados.

DIRECTOR, JOINT REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE (JRCC)
OVERVIEW
Responsible to the Executive Director, CARICOM IMPACS, for the overall management of JRCC.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Manages the strategic direction, day-to-day administration and operations of the Centre.
- Serves as the liaison between CARICOM, Regional and International Law Enforcement, Intelligence Agencies and any other external organisation.
- Serves as the main contract for Advance Passenger Information (API) of air and sea carriers entering, departing and or operating within CARICOM.
- Prepares support to CARICOM Visa and CARICOM Advance Cargo Information.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be vetted to the level of TOP SECRET.
- A BSc. Degree in Law Enforcement/Security Management/Management from a recognised University or the equivalent
- Should have at least 12 year’s managerial experience in a law enforcement background e.g. Military, Police, Customs, and Immigration or any other reputable institution.
- A combination of knowledge, expertise or courses obtained in law enforcement that demonstrates the skills necessary to perform in the position.
- Must be computer literate with sound IT skills.
- Must have knowledge of Regional Security Architecture.
