The International Institute of Travel and Tourism, the (ITT) is an online faculty of the University of Honiara - online, established to extend training in the areas of aviation safety, tourism and hospitality to international students.

The institution offers accredited certificate, diploma and associate degree training programs in various disciplines completely online, using internationally acclaimed virtual web tutoring technology acquired from Microsoft, AOL, and Intelsoft.

Since its formation, the ITT has attracted dozens of international students from several countries to its world class Flight Attendant training program, and other related courses.

To better improve the quality of its course content, and secure expandable international recognition of its certification, the institution is partnering with a variety of international universities and their respective faculties in the areas of instructional media development, e-learning content sharing, and student exchange.

By comparison, ITT alumni enjoys an online training experience that is of superior standards, and one that is only privileged to a few dozen international training institutions worldwide.

The online Faculty is managed by a Three-member Board of Trustees, who supervises its day to day operation. A new Board of Trustees is empaneled every year, and is selected from the academic staff of the University of Honiara - online and corporate affiliations of the Caricom e-learning Group.
